Demons of Time – Varun Sayal

IMG_20190408_070736_419.jpgIt is another wonderful creation of time travel and adventures by Varun Sayal. The first scene pulls you into the story and is enough to keep you hooked on to the book. You get the gist of the story in the first few chapters and will be amazed by the unexpected twists and turns in each chapter from there on.

Kumbh and Vetri are time demons who destroy human lives over many time slices. They travel time with ease once destroying lives and escape. They were enslaving Dhara and her son. When Dhara tries to escape from them with her son, a sage helps them. Guru Rigu captures the time demons and tries to put them in a place where there is no concept of time so that they are imprisoned and won’t be able to time travel again. The capture of these demons is important because a mass destruction awaits in the future. Kumbh escapes the prison, and Rigu is on a mission to capture him to change the future and approaches Dhara’s son to help him. Does he succeed is the rest of the story.

Time traveling and time reading concepts are explained well. The book does not lose the pace and thrill because of these details. The ending was totally unexpected and makes you look forward for the next book. It’s 140 pages long and forms a solid base for more books in the series. I enjoyed my personal copy of the book. It’s a 4/5 stars from me. Thank you Varun Sayal for the opportunity to read and review your book. It was a pleasure to work with you again.
