🌟🌟🌟🌟/5 for this book.
It is one of those books which you either love it or hate it completely. If you are into business world fiction, then you are in for a rollercoaster ride.
Aratrika Reddy is the CEO of Arya Ltd. The company is on the verge of bankruptcy and she has 8 hours to save it from old family rivals, ex-husband and others who are waiting for the downfall of the Reddy family business.
One of my favorite TV shows is Shark Tank. Kane and Abel, The Prodigal Daughter were some of the business related fiction that I have read. So as far as the business jagrans go, I recognized some and some were new. You will enter into a world of shares, IPO, mergers and acquisitions.
Aratrika is a complex character with many layers. She is so unpredictable and there are negative shades. Yet, you want her to win in the end considering she is the lesser of the evil in the Reddy clan.
I liked the narrative. It was pacey with flashbacks at the right places to help you understand the characters and events better.
I enjoyed reading this book so much. Thank you Writersmelon for the review copy. If you like business thrillers, then 8 hours is the book for you.
